rand* construction is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer in Alexandria, VA to learn and grow within a team that delivers award-winning projects for major clients. The role reports to the Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer and focuses on foundational project management tasks to build toward a Senior Project Engineer role.

You will update schedules, manage submittals and RFIs, assist with subcontractor procurement, coordinate tasks, and support project delivery through close-out.

What you’ll do:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer, this position performs essential project management tasks such as updating project schedules, processing submittals and RFIs, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, coordination, project delivery and close out. This position is intended as an entry level position for individuals to gain foundational experience required to become a Senior Project Engineer.

rand* construction offers a competitive total compensation package that includes base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-matched 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and other benefits & perks. Base salary is one component of rand*’s total compensation package. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including a candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, education, skills, and geographic location. Actual compensation may vary within the posted salary range, and compensation in other cities and states may differ.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000–$80,000.
