Job summary

Amphenol Corporation, including the Amphenol Communications Solutions division, seeks a Project Engineer to drive engineering and manufacturing initiatives across our global operations. The role emphasizes project execution, process improvements, and cross‑functional collaboration with international sites to meet business objectives.

You will lead projects from concept to completion, develop detailed plans, and support stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with assembly process engineering preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently to Asia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and driving accountability across stakeholders.
• Support and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Collaborate directly with global manufacturing sites, particularly in Asia, to support production and process implementation.
• Interface with Business Unit leadership, engineering teams, and operations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support related to stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, including leadership updates and project reviews.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing initiatives across our global operations. This role will focus on driving project execution, improving assembly processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and international manufacturing sites to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and driving accountability across stakeholders
• Support and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements
• Collaborate directly with global manufacturing sites, particularly in Asia, to support production and process implementation
• Interface with Business Unit leadership, engineering teams, and operations to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide technical support related to stamping, plating, molding, and assembly processes
• Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, including leadership updates and project reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in an engineering role
• Experience with assembly process engineering (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with interconnect industry processes such as stamping, plating, molding, and assembly (preferred)
• Proven project management experience, including creating and executing project plans
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across global teams
• Ability to travel frequently to Asia to support manufacturing operations
• Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
