Braun Intertec in St. Cloud, MN is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead geotechnical and construction materials testing projects and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering.
• Master's degree in geotechnical or related engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing PM experience.
• Professional Engineer registration in MN or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including face-to-face meetings.
• Lead a technical or project-related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute scopes and prepare engineering reports with professional opinions.
• Manage projects: scope, schedule, budget.
• Perform engineering analysis using company standards.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
• Leadership of a technical or project related team
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
• Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
• Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
• Mentor junior level engineering staff
• Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required
• Master's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optional
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience
• Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferredlll>Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis
