Overview

ColonialWebb seeks Project Engineers to support complex commercial mechanical construction projects throughout Central Virginia. The role supports project managers, field, and customers to deliver high‑quality work.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and business support onsite for commercial construction projects.
• Provide technical engineering information to project managers and field management ensuring work performed meets design and quality standards.
• Manage, develop, and submit RFIs, O&M manuals, and other project documents.
• Schedule equipment and material while coordinating with vendors.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.

Qualifications

• Construction project engineering, project management, or internship experience working for a commercial mechanical or building construction contractor (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, or other applicable engineering degrees.
• Sharp analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers at various levels within an organization.
• High mechanical aptitude and interest in building construction.
