Job summary

E&K is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator in Missouri to support project teams with contract documents, RFIs, submittals, and cost analyses. Responsibilities include document management, OnBase uploads, and change order support to ensure accurate, timely project deliverables.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret contract drawings and specifications, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading and interpreting contract documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and estimating.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • High level of organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Education: College Degree or Field Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contract document management and updating drawings/specifications, RFIs and change management.
  • Scanning and uploading documents and emails onto OnBase.
  • Soliciting quotes from Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors.
  • Managing subcontractor-related documents for jobs.
  • Creating submittal packages with data, SDS, LEED letters, and shop drawings.
  • Assisting with forecasting / cost analysis.
  • Research and cost analysis of new products and manufacturers.
  • Producing cost breakdowns / color coded drawings.
  • Assisting with change order takeoff / pricing.
  • Drafting and submitting RFIs.
  • Assisting with QA process and job close-out.

Responsibilities of the position include:
  • Contract document management; including, but not limited to updating contract drawings and specifications, RFI and change management (i.e. ASIs, Bulletins, RFQs) and submittals.
  • Scanning and uploading documents and emails onto OnBase.
  • Soliciting quotes from Suppliers, Vendors and Subcontractors.
  • Management of job specific subcontractor related documents as applicable.
  • Creating submittals packages; including, but not limited to creating cover sheets, obtaining product data, maintenance information, SDS sheets, LEED letters, and shop drawings.
  • Assisting with forecasting / cost analysis
  • Research and cost analysis of new products and manufacturers
  • Producing cost breakdowns / color coded drawings
  • Assisting with change order takeoff / pricing
  • Drafting and submitting RFI's
  • Assisting with QA process
  • Assisting with job close-out process
  • Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
  • Conform to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience with OST and QuickBid is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction budgets, scheduling, and estimating.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of construction industry products and multi-tasking skills.
  • Education: College Degree or Field Experience Preferred
