Job summary

Knife River is looking for a dependable Project Engineer to join our team in Utah. You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with schedules, cost tracking, and stakeholder communications on diverse construction projects.

Join a PEOPLE-first company that values safety, training, and teamwork. Travel within the state is required at times, and a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering plus 2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience working as a Project Engineer or in a comparable position within the construction industry.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS Heavy Job and JD Edwards accounting software preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and a qualifying driving record under Company Policy.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with GPS systems is a plus.
