Job summary

ENFRA Solutions seeks a Project Engineer to provide technical engineering information to supervision and crafts, ensuring construction work complies with engineering standards. You will interpret designs and support project execution with documented records.

Responsibilities include proposing solutions to drawing issues, verifying work against codes, and preparing sketches, reports, and material calculations. Travel is 0-5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with field teams.

• Research and propose solutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences and errors.
• Verify all completed work complies with codes, drawings, and specs.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation such as staff reports, punch lists, sketches, material calculations, etc.
• Provide technical support and direction for project material control and maintenance.
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates.
• Provide building control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and installation of materials.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor.

Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for providing technical engineering information to company supervision and crafts to insure construction work complies with all engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design/drawings for crafts installing material.
• Research and recommend solutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences and errors.
• Verify all complete work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as staff reports, punch lists, describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc. to supervisor.
• May provide technical support and direction of project material control functions including implementation and operation of maintenance program.
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.
• May provide necessary building control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• Working knowledge of construction equipment an techniques, drawings and specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculation either manually or with a calculator.
• Ability to assume responsibility, conduct follow up, tracking and reporting independently.
• Ability to interface and communicate with others effectively and professionally.
• Willing and able to help team with others tasks as needed and assigned.
• Must be self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.
• Well versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
