Atlaswhd is seeking a Project Engineer in Houston, Texas. This role is critical in supporting the development and execution of pressure control products while ensuring compliance with client needs and engineering standards. You will collaborate with various teams to deliver quality designs and documentation.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have experience with wellhead equipment and pressure control systems. The position may require travel to field locations for investigations and operations.
The Project Engineer supports the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Atlas Pressure Control products and engineering initiatives. This role is responsible for translating customer and internal requirements into compliant designs, documentation, and engineering deliverables while supporting change management, qualification testing, and quality investigations. The Project Engineer works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure products meet performance, safety, and API requirements throughout their lifecycle. This position plays a key role in maintaining engineering standards, driving design improvements, and enabling efficient execution across projects and operational needs.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role also requires periodic travel to field locations to support wellhead operations and investigations.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Frequent travel to Atlas Pressure Control facilities and field locations we operate in.
