Headquartered in downtown Greenville, the team has completed more than 2,000 projects across sectors such as industrial and commercial facilities, automotive, food industry, retail, office, churches, and healthcare, including medical office buildings, hospitals, and urgent care centers. The company delivers new construction, renovations, upfits, and pre-engineered metal buildings with a focus on value-driven solutions, realistic timelines, and clear communication.

Marsh Bell Construction takes pride in its work and emphasizes long‑term relationships and close collaboration with clients. With new ownership and leadership taking over in 2021, we are a growing, relationship‑first company. Our team is small enough that every project engineer works directly with our project managers, superintendents and leadership. It is also big enough to give you exposure to a wide range of project types.

Role Description The Project Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Greenville, SC. This position supports project delivery from pre‑construction through closeout, assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of field and office activities. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and maintaining project documentation, tracking submittals and RFIs, and supporting the project manager and superintendent with material procurement and subcontractor coordination. The Project Engineer helps monitor project progress, assists with quality control and safety compliance, and contributes to resolving technical and operational issues. The role works closely with internal teams, trade partners, and clients to maintain effective communication and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Project Planning skills, including interpreting construction documents and supporting technical problem‑solving.
  • Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities, such as coordination of tasks, schedule tracking, and documentation control.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
