Job summary

Evergreen Innovation Group LLC in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Project Engineer to support successful delivery of construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

You will review drawings and submittals, coordinate with managers to answer technical questions, monitor schedules and budgets, and help implement QA and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, related field, or equivalent.
• 0–4 years of experience in construction engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance with project goals.
• Maintain regular field presence to support safe work execution, including attendance at safety meetings such as stretch and flex.
• Engage in high‑risk activity planning and controls.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to address technical questions and resolve issues.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, track labor productivity, and report variances.
• Support QA and safety protocol implementation throughout all project phases.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identify opportunities for incremental improvements and contribute to leading practices.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to team and stakeholders.
