Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is looking for a Project Engineer in Duluth, Georgia to manage complex geotechnical projects and ensure client satisfaction. You will develop and maintain projects, prepare proposals, and lead technical teams.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months.

Job description

Background

Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Duluth office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
• Lead a technical or project related team
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
• Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
• Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
• Mentor junior level engineering staff
• Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
• Travel up to 25% of time

• Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis

Compensation

Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $119,000.00
