Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Project Engineer – Shop Drawings & Submittals is the technical link between our project teams, fabricators, and suppliers. This role reviews shop drawings, submittals, and design changes to confirm material is ordered and produced correctly, efficiently, and on time. Working closely with Project Managers, it plays a key part in keeping projects on schedule and catching problems on paper before they become field delays or wasted material.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Do what you say you'll do — and speak up early when something is off track
  • Adapt quickly when priorities, schedules, or projects shift
  • Manage your own workload without needing constant direction
  • Stay humble, coachable, and focused on the team's success over personal credit
  • Enjoy the details and get satisfaction from catching the mistake before anyone else does
  • Are comfortable reading drawings all day and asking the right questions when something doesn't line up
