This is not a role for someone who wants to remain behind a desk or manage projects only through outside vendors. Recruiters should look for candidates who can combine sound chemical engineering fundamentals with plant-floor troubleshooting, capital project execution, controls or automation exposure, and a collaborative approach.

The preferred candidate has approximately five years of experience and is looking for a company where they can grow long term.
