Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team on smaller, less complex projects. This role focuses on evaluating project changes, tracking change orders, and procuring equipment and services for jobs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, basic ERP skills, and familiarity with HVAC or plumbing design. Proficiency reading mechanical drawings and basic CAD/Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Basic ERP skills to include inquiring, reviewing and printing job cost reports
• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office, such as Excel

Pay

Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California, this ranges from $80,000.00-$90,000.00 yearly plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.

Contingent Employment
