Job summary

Emcortmi is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating construction projects. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities include communicating with vendors, scheduling deliveries, posting RFIs, ASIs and COs, tracking submittals and documentation, developing ROM estimates and assisting with pricing, performing QA/QC, and supporting safety planning

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction project coordination or related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager (PM) and Superintendent in coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the following regularly:

  • Communicate with vendors and schedule deliveries
  • Prepare and post RFIs, ASIs, and COs
  • Track submittals and maintain documentationDevelop ROMs estimates and assist with pricing
  • Perform QA / QC checks
  • Prepare JHAs and support safety planning
  • Facilitate Toolbox Talks
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in or project coordination preferred
  • Knowledge of construction processes and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with construction management software preferred
