Job summary

Superior Energy Services seeks a Project Engineer to join the Broussard, LA team. This on-site role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering oilfield equipment and services for diverse client projects.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and maintain clear communication with clients to ensure timely project completion. On-site responsibilities require diligent oversight and hands-on collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in design, project management and/or equipment implementation (oil & gas preferred).
  • Project Management training or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the planning and timelines of assigned projects.
  • Delegates tasks to coworkers and/or contractors to ensure effective project completion.
  • Conducts regular client meetings and maintains action trackers to clarify requirements and progress.
  • Coordinates technical communication between internal and external parties to meet project goals and maintain budgets.
  • Monitors project performance and analyzes completion of key goals.
  • Provides leadership and recommendations to SOPs, work instructions, operations, and product development.

Superioris currently seeking a Project Engineerto join our team in Broussard, LA (On-Site).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages the planning and timelines of assigned projects.
  • Delegates responsibility of tasks to appropriate coworkers and/or contractors to ensure effective project
    completion.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients and maintains action trackers to clarify requirements and communicate
    progress.
  • Coordinate technical communication between internal and external parties to ensure project goals are met.
    Maintain project budgets.
  • Monitor project performance and analyze completion of key goals.
  • Provide leadership and recommendations to department’s Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions,
    operation, and product development.

T ECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.Knowledge, competency, and experience in practical application of mechanical engineering practices.
  • Working knowledge in core products and current practices, technology and materials used in the oil and gas
    industry.
  • Fully proficient in MS Office software.
  • Fully proficient in MS Project or other planning software.
  • Proficient at reading engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiar with manufacturing techniques.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four‑year college or university required. Additionally, a minimum of 3
years of experience in the design, project management and/or implementation of equipment (preferably in the oil
and gas industry) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Project Management training or
experience preferred.
