Clayco is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to operate on-site at construction projects and service clients across a multi-state region. The role involves taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout on large, award-winning build programs.

The candidate will build client and subcontractor relationships, collaborate with Architects, Engineers and Planners on schedules, assist forecasts and budgets, and mentor junior staff. Travel nationwide is expected due to project scopes.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 0–5 years of experience managing construction projects (design-build preferred).
• Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Experience on a successful project management team.
• Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.

The Role We Want You For

The construction Project Engineer will be based on the construction project site and will service our clients in a multi-state region and may even travel across the country. You will have the opportunity to build large, complicated, iconic design-build projects $30 million and above. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout.

Requirements

• 0 to 5 years of experience managing construction projects, ideally design-build.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Previous experience on a successful project management team.
• Ability to walk a job site, climb ladders, and scale multi-floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects of at least 50 lbs.
