Job summary

PayneCrest Electric, Inc. in Lincoln, NE seeks an experienced Project Director to lead a multi-building data center program, focusing on safety, quality, profitability, and client relations.

You will oversee multiple project teams, manage the combined P&L, mentor staff, partner with Engineering, Prefabrication, Purchasing and Safety, and pursue new business opportunities to grow the PCE portfolio.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Field experience.
• 10+ years of leading large teams and/or projects, preferably in the large-scale data center sector.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate as needed to support local and national projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple project teams at various locations and ensure projects are executed successfully.
• Be responsible for the combined profit and loss of the projects under their purview.
• Maintain customer relationships with active customers ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop team members: actively mentor and coach operations teams to further develop their skills.
• Partner with internal groups such as Engineering, Prefabrication, Purchasing, Accounting and Safety to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Together with the Manpower Leaders, develop strategies to staff projects with sufficient, high-quality manpower.
• Develop business opportunities through relationships with clients, designers, and others to fit within the PCE model and profit expectations.
• As a member of the Project Management Leadership Team, set strategy for operations at PCE and keep the Company’s best interests in mind.

We are seeking an experienced PROJECT DIRECTOR with strong operational oversight to lead a multi-building data center campus. This individual must be focused on developing strong skills in their teams in the core competencies of safety, quality, profitability, personal development, labor management and client relations.

COMPENSATION :

• Salary commensurate with experience.
