Thor is seeking a Project Director to assume end-to-end accountability for a newly initiated data center program currently in early construction. Based from a regional office (CO, VA, AZ or FL), you will drive shell-and-core through MEP, systems integration, and commissioning readiness.

The role demands a structured, decisive leader who can navigate a fast-evolving, multi-trade environment, manage critical paths, and interface with client and executives to report progress and risk clearly.

A national builder entering its first large-scale mission-critical facility is seeking a Project Director to take full accountability for delivery of a newly initiated data center program currently in early construction phase.

This is a first-of-kind regional delivery for the organization, with shell and core works underway and rapid transition into MEP installation, systems integration, and commissioning preparation.

The environment is not legacy-structured. Systems, sequencing discipline, and delivery controls are actively being built as the job progresses.

This role requires an operator who can impose structure, drive clarity, and maintain execution control in a fast-evolving, multi-trade environment where complexity is increasing daily.

You will own end-to-end project outcomes, including:

• Full schedule and cost delivery from active construction through commissioning and turnover
• Establishment and enforcement of critical path discipline across civil, structural, and MEP works
• Leadership of site execution strategy across all trade packages

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a delivery-focused Project Director who has operated in:

• Data centers, advanced industrial, healthcare, or similarly systems-dense environments
• Fast-track construction with aggressive sequencing constraints
• Multi-subcontractor environments requiring strong field organisation and efficiency

You will bring:

• Proven control of large-scale, MEP-heavy programs through completion
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing under spatial and schedule constraints
• Demonstrated ability to lead without reliance on established internal playbooks
• Strong commercial awareness and change discipline
• Experience driving projects through commissioning and structured turnover
• Clear, decisive leadership style under pressure
