What You’ll Do

As a Project Detailer, you’ll play a key role in bringing large‑scale commercial projects to life. You’ll create detailed submittal packages, review contract documents, and ensure every opening meets specifications, code requirements, hardware functions, and project standards. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Management to support the critical path schedule, manage change orders, procure samples, and maintain documents through Bluebeam and Comsense. You’ll also contribute your expertise through value engineering, hardware consulting, keying schedules, and the occasional development of specifications.

What You’ll Bring

You’re experienced in Division 8 detailing and have a solid understanding of installation practices, building codes, contracting, and change management. You’re confident working in Comsense Opening Suite and familiar with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Studio. Your strengths include analytical thinking, financial awareness, clear communication, and strong collaboration across teams. You bring professionalism, creativity, and initiative to your work—and you’re comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred but not required

AHC, FDAI, and/or CDC certifications.

Physical Requirements

This role involves a combination of standing, walking, and occasional extended sitting. You’ll frequently use hand and finger dexterity for computer‑based tasks and need clear close and distance vision. Effective hearing is important for communication and safety awareness.
