Job summary

DyeLot is seeking a senior interior designer to oversee design projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage schedules and budgets for hospitality-focused environments. Proficiency in SketchUp and Revit will drive detailed models and BIM workflows, while leading FF&E strategy and space planning.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong PM, multitasking, and communication skills, with deep knowledge of the design process and the ability to guide a project from concept to completion.

  • Revit: Advanced proficiency - At this level, users have mastery over complex modeling, BIM workflows, and can utilize Revit for detailed architectural and engineering projects. They can solve complex problems and streamline processes.
  • Detailing: Strong attention to detail - Highly skilled in detailing, able to tackle complex and nuanced aspects of projects. They can mentor others and contribute significantly to the quality of the project.
  • Space Planning: Expert skills - Expert in space planning, able to manage highly complex and challenging projects. They bring innovation and strategic thinking to space utilization.
  • Creativity: Creative and strategic thinking - Exceptionally creative, capable of generating novel and effective ideas or solutions. Can lead design innovation and inspire others. Understands the parameters of effective creativity as they relate to project goals.
  • Project Management: Strong - Experienced in managing complex projects. Can handle scheduling, budgets, team dynamics, and client relationships effectively.
  • Coordination: Excellent coordination skills - Skilled in orchestrating complex project elements, ensuring smooth teamwork and efficient project progress. Possesses foresight from previous experience to proactively coordinate potential points of conflict
  • Finishes, Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment: Expert – Has a comprehensive understanding of historical and contemporary trends, advanced materials, and innovative technologies. They can lead FF&E strategy for large-scale or high-profile projects, provide consultancy, and make influential decisions that shape the project's character and functionality.
