Job summary

RK Industries in Denver, CO is seeking a Project Designer to turn concepts into production-ready designs. You will develop and maintain 3D models and detailed drawings, collaborating with design, project teams, customers, sales, operations, and engineering.

Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred with at least 3 years of design experience. Proficiency in Inventor, Revit, AutoCAD, or Plant 3D helps ensure manufacturability and adherence to RK’s standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project or product design experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience with CAD software to create 3D models and production drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D models, product drawings, and basic electrical layouts for fabrication and assembly.
• Create 3D progress models from concepts with limited information.
• Peer-review design work for manufacturability and compliance with standards.
• Incorporate changes into project revisions and BOMs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to clarify design details and improve production processes.
