Principal-level involvement, smart design solutions, and efficient project delivery are standard. With offices in Houston and Denver, the team specializes in cultural arts, community, worship, commercial, hospitality, renovation, civic, planning, and education projects.

We are seeking a Project Designer who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of design to lead the team and elevate our projects. Designers play a crucial role in shaping the creative direction of our projects. The successful candidate will understand design principles and have 8-15 years of experience. The Designer will be responsible for creating meaningful design solutions that exceed client expectations.

What you will be doing
  • Initiating design concepts and bringing fresh ideas
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Mentoring, guiding and inspiring other staff
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring design ideas are consistent and aligned with project goals
  • Ensure design deliverables are of excellent quality and meet the Studio RED standards
  • Conducting regular reviews and provide feedback to the team
Your Qualifications
  • Licensed Architect preferred
  • Professional degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Architecture
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in design
  • Proven track record of delivering successful design projects
  • Understanding of design principles and the user experience
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions effectively to clients and teams
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including clear and concise communication, active listening and observation as well as seek understanding of others’ points of view looking at verbal and non-verbal cues to encourage open and honest discussions
