Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

PMBA Architects is seeking a Project Designer to join our collaborative architectural team. This role is ideal for a talented designer who enjoys translating ideas into well coordinated, buildable design solutions and contributing throughout all phases of a project.

As a Project Designer, you will support a wide range of projects—large and small—by producing high quality drawings, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and helping ensure designs align with client goals, budgets, and schedules.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Support design development and space planning from concept through construction documents
• Produce architectural drawings, models, and renderings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants
• Assistwith project documentation, meeting notes, and design revisions
• Review designs for accuracy, coordination, and code compliance
• Conduct field verification and evaluate existing site conditions
• Collaborate with Project Managers and project teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain organized project documentation and drawing sets
• Participate in BIM coordination and model reviewsStay current with design standards, details, and emerging trends

Education and Experience

• 3+ yearsof relevant experience in architectural design or documentation
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Construction, or Architecture
  Bachelor’s in Architecturepreferred
• HighproficiencyinRevit(required) andAutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign preferred)
• Familiarity with building codes and coordination processes
• Proficiencywith Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel and visit job sites as needed.
