Job summary

The Boldt Company seeks a Project Delivery Intern in Appleton, WI. You will support planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects, working with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to help track progress and manage documentation.

As part of Boldt’s internship, you’ll receive mentorship, hands-on learning, and exposure to real project challenges while developing technical and professional skills for a successful construction career.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior.
• Preferred majors: Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, and progress tracking.
• Support planning and coordination to help deliver construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners.
• Contribute to problem solving to drive project performance.

As a Project Delivery Services Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of construction projects. Working alongside project managers, superintendents, engineers, and trade partners, you'll assist with scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, and progress tracking while helping solve project challenges and drive performance. Through meaningful project assignments and collaboration with experienced construction professionals, you'll develop a broad understanding of project delivery and build the technical, leadership, and professional skills needed for a successful career in the construction industry.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $21 to $25 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program. Preferred majors/concentrations in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Passion and desire to work in the construction industry
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls.
• Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred. Passion and desire to work in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision.

Nice to Have

• Prior work experience, internship preferred but not required.
