Job summary

Shook Construction Co. is seeking a Project Dedicated Project Support Specialist to provide on-site administrative support across the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and field staff to manage documentation, compliance, and communications on a dedicated project team. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; an Associate degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of construction, administrative, or project support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support project startup, execution, and closeout activities to help ensure project success.
  • Coordinate contract administration, compliance tracking, and project documentation per company procedures.
  • Maintain organized project records and document control systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project compliance requirements, including certified payroll, lien waivers, notices, and closeout documentation.
  • Support field onboarding, payroll entry, meeting coordination, and day-to-day project administrative needs.
  • Assist project teams with timely reporting, communication, and administrative support.
  • Submit, track, and maintain permits and project documentation as requested.
  • Provide clerical support for submittals, RFIs, and project controls after review by the project team.
  • Generate routine project reports and maintain accurate project records.
  • Assist with pay applications, certified payroll, stored material logs, and tax records.
  • Support quality document control practices across project files.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate logistics, and distribute minutes.
  • Coordinate food service, events, and team gatherings.
  • Maintain weekly field payroll information as directed by supervision.
