Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time, permanent openings for a Janitorial Crew Member. Join a fast-paced team dedicated to safe, clean workplaces and meaningful service. Shifts vary, including weekends, with starting pay of $20 per hour.

Responsibilities include floors, carpets, windows, trash, restrooms, and basic repairs, plus driving to sites across a multi-state radius. We value reliability and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for various floor types.
• Ability to travel to multiple work sites.
• Ability to work nights, days and weekends.
• Present and maintain a valid driver license.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance documents (in English; may include Spanish where state required).

Responsibilities

• Clean hard surface floors, sanitize, scrub, strip and finish.
• Scrub and burnish floor surfaces such as gym floors.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
• Extract carpet using carpet extractor.
• Wash windows and polish fixtures.
• Pressure wash floors and buildings as needed.
• Perform minor wall repairs and maintain cleanliness.
• Gather and empty trash; service restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces.
• Notify managers about major repairs or system needs.
• Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning duties.
• Back up crew members in territory when needed.
• Extensive driving within four to five states; occasional overnight shifts.

Shifts Available

6pm / 5am

Starting Pay: $20 per hour

Summary Of Duties

• Clean hard surface floors (Sanitize, scrub, strip and finish)
• Scrub and burnish special floor surfaces (e.g. Gymnasium floors)
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets
• Extract carpet using carpet extractor
• Wash windows
• Pressure wash floor/building using pressure washer
• Minor wall repairs
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesBack up for crew members in territory when needed
• Potential for extensive driving- often within a radius of four to five states. Occasional overnight shifts may be required

Requirements For Our Project Crew Member Position

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance work
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for a variety of floor types (e.g., vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood)
• Ability to travel (drive) to various work sites
• Ability to work nights/days and weekends
• Present and maintain valid driver license
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
