What You'll Do:

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates for wind, solar, transmission, and industrial projects.
  • Work across multiple cost categories and budgets, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Analyze project plans, perform quantity take-offs, and assess contractor/subcontractor proposals.
  • Track and report on market trends including materials, labor, and commodity pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate pricing and scope.
  • Support bid processes and RFP development.
  • Assist during construction phases with cost control, change order evaluation, and budget tracking.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimating, with at least 1-2 years completing full-cycle projects.
  • Experience working with actual pricing data and cost control processes.
  • Familiarity with commercial estimating tools (e.g., Timberline/SageCRE, QuickBid, RSMeans).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in utility-scale renewable energy is a plus, but we also welcome candidates from O&G electrical or industrial construction backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% (domestic/international).
  • Valid driver's license; Spanish fluency is a plus.
