Job summary

Bobbie is seeking a capable Project/Program Manager to own the capital program at our Heath, Ohio facility. You will manage schedules, budgets, POs, and documentation, coordinating with engineers and vendors to land projects on time and on budget.

You’ll ensure turnover packages are usable and align with GMP requirements. The role emphasizes construction management skills, cross‑functional communication, and a path to grow into broader project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years supporting projects in manufacturing or industrial environment; food, dairy, or FDA-regulated experience preferred.
• Strong Excel plus MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tools.
• ERP experience for requisitions, POs, and capital tracking (SAP/NetSuite/Oracle).
• Able to read basic technical drawings (layouts, general arrangements, P&IDs).
• Familiarity with GMP documentation and change control, or willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across shop floor, engineering, vendors, leadership
• Willingness to gown in GMP environment and lift up to 60 lbs occasionally
• CAPM, Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, OSHA 10/30, or HACCP awareness is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager and Project Engineers in planning and executing capital projects from scope to startup.
• Build and maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and Gantt charts.
• Track budgets and forecasts against approved capital; reconcile spend monthly.
• Manage purchase requisitions, POs, receipts, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and OEMs on schedule adherence and site requirements.
• Lead meeting cadences with agendas, notes, and action items.
• Organize technical documentation: drawings, specs, manuals, turnover packages.
• Route scope and drawings changes through change control for GMP impact.
• Maintain risk and issue logs and escalate timeline/cost/quality risks early.
• Onboard contractors, ensure GMP rules in production zones.
• Bridge projects into operations: commissioning, handoffs, training, turnover.
• Publish weekly status reports and monthly capital reviews.

Bobbie for Change

Compensation

$65,000 – $80,000

Our salaries are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. This role is on‑site at our Heath, Ohio facility, and the range above reflects that market. Final offer within the range is based on experience and demonstrated project delivery.

The role

Our capital plan is bigger than our ability to track it. That's the problem you solve.

You'll be the operating system for the manufacturing program — schedules, budgets, purchase orders, vendors, documentation, change control, and the meeting cadence that keeps two project engineers and a plant full of stakeholders pointed the same direction. You won't own the engineering. You'll own whether it lands on time, on budget, and with a turnover package someone can actually use.

What you'll own

• Support the Program Manager and Project Engineers in planning and executing capital projects from scope definition through startup
• Build and maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and Gantt charts, and keep them honest
• Track project budgets and forecasts against approved capital, and reconcile committed versus actual spend monthly
• Initiate and manage purchase requisitions, POs, receipts, and invoice matching, and expedite long‑lead equipment and parts
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and OEMs on schedule adherence, deliverables, and site requirements
• Run the meeting cadence — agendas, notes, action items, and the follow‑up that makes them mean something
• Collect and organize technical documentation: drawings, spec sheets, O&M manuals, FAT and SAT packets, spare parts lists, and turnover packages
• Route scope, drawing, and equipment changes through the site change control process so GMP impact gets assessed before work starts
• Maintain the risk and issue log, and elevate anything that threatens timeline, cost, or quality early enough to matter
• Coordinate contractor onboarding, safety orientation, and GMP rules for anyone working in production zones
• Bridge project work into operations — commissioning support, qualification handoff, operator training, and documentation turnover
• Publish weekly project status and monthly capital review packages for plant and company leadership

What we would like you to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
