Job summary

Major League Baseball in New York is seeking a Project Coordinator within the Global Design Department to support the Global Design Project Management team. The role focuses on social media and digital campaigns, coordinating with Designers and Project Managers to plan timelines and deliverables.

You will work closely with Marketing, Sponsorship, Social Media, and Editorial teams to ensure priorities align and milestones are met, while tracking workloads and generating performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, creative operations, or a design studio environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design.
  • Familiarity with Major League Baseball and the 30 Clubs.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
  • Proficient in Project Management tools, Asana strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create monthly team schedules and manage shift change requests.
  • Schedule team meetings, build agendas and presentations.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with designers to develop workload and timeline management reports.
  • Manage job requests by ensuring briefs are complete, gathering requirements, and assigning tasks to designers based on team availability and priorities.
  • Partner with stakeholders including Marketing, Sponsorship, Social Media, Editorial, etc. to confirm alignment on priorities and deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying potential delays and developing solutions.
  • Track stakeholder feedback and ensure revisions are documented and communicated clearly to design teams.
  • Support resource planning by tracking team capacity and upcoming workload.
  • Develop and manage project timelines for campaign templates and long-term initiatives.
  • Assist Project Management team in managing cross-functional project timelines, milestones, and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Collect work across Global Design teams to develop post-project strategy and analysis reports.
  • Assist with process improvements and project management best practices.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Compile research, case studies and project reports as needed.
  • Collect, record and submit invoices for payment.
  • Work with legal to create and route contracts and addenda.
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Manage content uploads and user access to the department Adobe CC library.

Job description

Major League Baseball is looking for a Project Coordinator in the Global Design Department to support the Global Design Project Management team across a wide range of creative initiatives, with a focus on social media and digital campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, this role works closely with Project Managers and Designers to plan and manage team goals and workflows, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and learn how large-scale design projects are managed and executed across a global brand.

Responsibilities
Project Management support

Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors Major League Baseball considers relevant to the hiring decision.
