POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Axia by Qcells is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and manage complex project activities across our organization. In this pivotal role, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for refining project strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of a portfolio of projects. You will work closely with management, Senior Project Coordinators, and cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans encompassing resources, timelines, and financial allocations while delivering five-star customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess fundamental project management skills, a keen ability to navigate and resolve challenges, a talent for maintaining meticulous attention to detail across broad scopes and providing delightful customer interactions and service. Your goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and of exceptional quality.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a potential in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist with overseeing a pipeline of projects from sale to permission to operate and beyond with abundant communication, effectiveness, and providing fantastic stakeholder experience while working well cross-functionally.
  2. Assist with managing projects, establishing timeframes, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  3. Assist with being the first point of contact for all project-related communications, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders to gather detailed project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  4. Coordinate with departments to allocate necessary resources and personnel, ensuring optimal project utilization and world-class customer experience.
  5. Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans. Elevate risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
  6. Continuously monitor project progress against goals, adapting plans and strategies to address challenges and blockages as they arise.
  7. Supporting project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and enhancing team capabilities.
  8. Assist with reviewing and approving all project-related legal documents, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  9. Assist with maintaining comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all details are accurately captured and readily accessible.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. H.S. Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of professional work experience or a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional work experience including 1 year as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, including managing complex projects from inception to completion, ideally in the retrofit residential PV + ESS renewable energy sector.
  2. Expertise in developing detailed project plans using various methodologies.
  3. Ability to interpret complex flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  4. Demonstrated excellent leadership and customer experience-enhancing skills, capable of guiding peers and influencing management and stakeholders to drive positive business outcomes and unparalleled customer experience.
  5. Exceptional prioritization and time-management abilities, focusing on delivering high-quality positive impact.
  6. Strong capabilities in client-facing situations and teamwork; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges.
  7. Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., enterprise-level CRMs) and quality assurance and risk management familiarity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
