Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• Coordinates project teams of one to five people, including planning, scheduling, and controlling project and program activities.
• Acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects.
• Maintains a knowledge base of new developments and technology. Monitors projects and recommends changes to improve operating efficiency.
• Develops budgetary estimates.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manages small projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and online maintenance, providing oversight of planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence. This includes budget management, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, safety protocols, work prioritization, resource loading, and resolving schedule delays and conflicts.
• Develops and tracks budgets, ensuring proper progress through regular interface with clients, engineers, and management.
• Develops and manages contracts and interfaces with vendors.
• Prepares and delivers written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management.
• Develops and maintains long-range planning strategies for assigned projects.
• Supports the implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
• Provides outage support including Outage Control Center (OCC).

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a technical field OR
• Associate’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from an accredited institution AND three years of experience in a technical field OR
• High School Diploma/GED AND five years of experience in a technical field.

Skills:

• Basic project management techniques and core values related to human performance and cost-effective work execution.
• Basic proficiency with computer software tools (MS Office).
