Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, Texas is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage proposals, track scope documents, and coordinate with engineering and production teams on industrial automation projects.

You will assemble design submittals, maintain the shop fabrication schedule, assist purchasing with materials, and oversee field startup coordination to ensure on-time delivery and thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or systems integration.
  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI-based control systems and panel fabrication workflows.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with engineers, vendors, and clients.
