CDM Smith has an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Specialist to support diverse projects across various locations in the U.S. You will develop basic to moderately complex cost and schedule baselines and prepare standardized management reports.

You will gather progress from project managers, update data, and monitor variances, risks, and forecasts in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop time‑phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs and update requirements as needed.
  • Monitor progress of deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts.
  • Perform performance reporting using Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Document and assess the impact of project changes on cost and schedule baselines.
  • Identify and communicate early warning signals to project managers; recommend resource realignments to maintain project execution.
