Job summary

Global Technical Talent, an Inc. 5000 Company, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist in Columbus, OH, for a 12-month contract. The role leads project controls with the PM team to keep deliverables on budget and schedule. Start date is June 18, 2026, with travel every other month to First Energy in Akron.

Responsibilities include WBS creation, scheduling and cost reporting, and interfacing with accounting. Position requires strong communication and MS Office proficiency; Primavera P6 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
• OSHA 10-hour safety certification (ability to obtain).
• Experience in project controls, cost control and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
• Develop and maintain scheduling and cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
• Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and analyze schedule progress.
• Monitor resource loading and perform schedule what-if analyses.
• Support IPPM meetings and interact with project team and accounting.
