Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Indianapolis is seeking a Project Controls Planning Lead within Project & Development Services. You will oversee schedule management across multiple projects and act as the primary contact for project-level controls delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years of experience with at least 2 years in management, advanced project controls skills, and strong client relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field; master's degree preferred; certification preferred.
  • Ten or more years of related experience with 2+ years of management experience required.
  • Advanced project controls skills; expert in client relations, client management and consulting.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related technical field.

Responsibilities

Project Controls Planning Lead, Project & Development Services

Acts as the project controls lead for large or high-risk projects. Responsible for coordinating cost and schedule activities and serving as the primary point of contact for project-level controls delivery.

Essential Job Duties
  • Oversee schedule management across multiple projects.
  • Act as escalation point for complex controls issues.
  • Provide QA/QC review of forecasts, schedules, and reporting.
  • Lead client meetings related to project controls.
  • Manage and mentor Senior Project Controls staff.
  • Support resourcing and staffing decisions.
  • Coordinate and integrate all third-party schedule components into a comprehensive cost plan.
Education / Experience / Training

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification preferred. Ten or more years of related experience with 2 or more years of management experience required. Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the assigned department or assigned practice area. Advanced project controls skills. Expert in client relations, client management and consulting. Highly organized with strong analytical skills. Expertise using cost and schedule management software. Experience within one or more of the following industries required: construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related technical field. Must possess exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $ 119,000.00 - $140,000.00
