Associate Consultant - Advanced Manufacturing | Advanced Technology | Healthcare | Life Science

Locations: Multiple locations across the U.S.

RSP Group is partnered with a top construction General Contractor looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead financial management on large, complex projects ($500M+). This role is responsible for budgeting, cost control, reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis in close partnership with Project Managers, Regional Controllers, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Own all project financials: budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, risk/opportunity analysis.
  • Lead monthly financial reviews and present consolidated reports to executives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, contracts, and internal controls.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters with the project team.
  • Manage cash flow, collections, audits, and subcontractor financial issues.
  • Supervise and mentor Project Accountants, setting performance expectations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
  • Minimum 6+ years in project or operational accounting, ideally construction/advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of contractual, legal, and commercial terms for large-scale projects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, capable of managing large and complex workbooks. ERP/Oracle EPM a plus.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
