Job summary

Amentum's Telecommunications Group is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support telecom projects across the United States. You will oversee financial activities, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and help gather, validate, and upload closeout deliverables.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business, or similar) is required.
• Graduated in 2023 or later from a 2 year+ program.
• 1-3 years of experience in project controls, preferably in telecom.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Experience with financial reporting systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must be available during United States eastern standard time.
• Must be eligible to work for any US Employer without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop and manage project plans, reports, and schedules.
• Perform data entry, review, and process project forms and deliverable documents.
• Maintain project trackers and third-party tracking databases.
• Assist in data collection, validation, and ongoing maintenance/updates in various internal and third-party systems.
• Manage project invoicing processes.
• Serve as a liaison between National Project Accountants and Procurement
• Participate in internal calls and provide administrative support as needed.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project status communications to the project team.
• Analyze data and create action items for team members based on project status.
• Prepare and deliver project reports to project staff.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams on process improvements and efficiencies. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Project Controls Coordinator – Telecom

We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Coordinator to join our Telecom Project Controls team. This position is essential for the successful execution of team initiatives across the United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial project activities, including management, processing, and review.
