Middough Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support planning, scheduling, cost engineering and trend analysis on assigned projects. You will help prepare performance reports, monitor variances and provide feedback to improve cost and schedule performance.

The role involves maintaining EAB databases, creating project data sheets, updating budgets and issuing weekly client EAB reports, with on-site support as needed. A bachelors degree and EVMS familiarity are preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business.
• 0–5 years’ experience with earned value management systems.
• Project Controls experience on engineering and construction projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cost engineering relating to budgeting, monitoring and forecasting.
• Experience with Word, Access, Excel, VBA, PowerPoint and MS Project software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities for project efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update client Earned Actual Budget (EAB) databases.
• Open and assign project numbers to PMs; create the Project Data Sheet (PDS) and project record in the database.
• Update the PDS and database with budget revisions/proposals/Change Order Requests (CORs); duplicate PDS revisions to the EAB database.
• Issue weekly client EAB reports; update overdue invoices, percent completes, and collect updates from Middough PMs.
• Ensure new PO’s, supplements, and CORs are added to project folders.
• Lead in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of budget data (including resource loading).
• Update Signature Project DTSR’s with the weekly Oracle download and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and issue weekly performance curves with cost and schedule performance indicators.
• Provide project histories, project data, and reports when required.
• Assist with timecard hour transfers.
• Maintain, update, and send weekly reminders for TQI/DTSR Conformance Report.
• Issue a weekly client EAB report that also requires updating percent completes and collecting updates from Middough PMs.
• Advise management of risks affecting project profit, costs, schedules and client relations.
• Maintain and issue charts for Workforce Planning spreadsheets and for client onsite FTET.
• Assist in Project Close-Out process and KPI metrics.
• Provide on-site support as required by client Project Controls.

Project Controls Coordinator - Position and Responsibilities

As a Project Controls Coordinator with Middough, you will provide services related to planning, scheduling, cost engineering and trend engineering on assigned projects. Services would include performance monitoring status and management reports which identify variances in work execution strategy, provide timely feedback and recommend solutions to management to improve or mitigate problems affecting cost, schedule or estimating issues throughout the life cycle of a project, program or other related work activity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain and update client Earned Actual Budget (EAB) databases.
• Open and assign project numbers to PM's. Create the Project Data Sheet (PDS) and project record in the database.
• Update the PDS and database with budget revisions/proposals/ Change Order Requests (COR's), new comments, new project information, or status change. Duplicate PDS revisions to the EAB database.
• Issue weekly client EAB reports; requires updating the number of past due invoices, percent completes, removal of old projects, and collecting updates from Middough PM's.
• Ensure new PO's, supplements, and COR's are added to project folders.
• Leads in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of budget data (including resource loading) for those WBS elements.
• Update Signature Project DTSR's with the weekly Oracle download and ensure data integrity.

• Assist in Project Close-Out process and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Metrics.
• On-Site Assistance to include: Coordinate distribution of contractor invoices to client Project Managers and assist with processing. Provide on-site support as required by client Project Controls. Assist Middough Project Controls with information from client's accounting system when requested.

Education, Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business.
• 0-5 years' experience with earned value management systems.
• Project Controls experience on engineering and construction projects.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of principles and concepts of cost engineering as they relate to budgeting, monitoring and tracking actual costs, change orders and forecasting.
• Experience with Word, Access, and Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, and MS Project Software
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities for project efficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop or kneel, bend or twist, use repeating motions that may include the wrists/hands/fingers and talk and hear.
• Frequently use up-close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Should not expect adverse environmental conditions within company offices.
• May be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as climbing ladders and/or stairs, extreme heat and/or cold, and/or poor air quality) if or when on-site at a client facility. Noise levels may be moderate to high at various client sites, hearing protection may be required and/or provided. Safety protections provided by the client and/or company are required to be used and followed.
• May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites.
• This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence and auto insurance coverage.
