Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support budgeting and scheduling across critical underground cable projects.

You will monitor cost performance, align with project teams, and help ensure efficient execution of infrastructure installations. Ideal candidates have up to 3 years in project controls, finance, or construction operations, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of related experience in project controls, finance, accounting, or construction operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Training or exposure to project cost control, scheduling, and forecasting processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently
• Ability to travel to various project sites and work on-site full time
