Lemartec Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Analyst or Sr. Project Controls Analyst to support a Project Manager in planning, cost control, and achieving financial success on assigned projects.

Expect coordinating contractual requirements, design development, and construction progress across multiple locations in the US. The role requires a bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management and 5+ years of experience, with proficiency in Procore, MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 5+ years’ experience in engineering/construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detailed.
• Proficiency with Procore and MS Office; familiarity with MS Project/Primavera P6.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, cost control, and project completion.
• Maintain project schedules and perform monthly forecasting and FAC.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, actuals, and job cost variances.
• Prepare PSR, job cost reports, and contract administration documents.
• Coordinate procurement, backcharges, notices, and change management.
• Support risk registers and meeting minutes; participate in training activities.

Overview

The Project Controls Analyst or Sr. Project Controls Analyst is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, cost control, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial success of assigned projects. The Project Controls Analyst will assist their assigned Project Manager in coordinating contractual requirements, design development, and construction progress.

Location & Travel Details

You will be primarily located in one of 3 locations: South Florida, Kansas, or Illinois. You’ll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects. This is a traveling position, with up to 70% travel time.

The Project Controls Analyst participates in developing and presenting designated subjects in training classes and on the job training for specific processes and practices to the project team members (PM, PFE, Superintendent). The Project Controls Analyst will also work closely and collaborate with the PFE and Superintendent in respect of construction progress, subcontractor issues (i.e. back charges), permits, inspections, owner issues, field procurement and work-rounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, and/or a related field with 5+ years’ work experience within the engineering/construction industry
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic, fast- paced environment
• Superior communication skills (oral and written)
• Highly organized and structured
• In-depth knowledge of Standard Accounting practices and procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
• Superior skills with Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management system
• Project Scheduling Experience with MS Project and/or Primavera P6
• Document Control Experience
• Ability to travel and/or relocate
• Experience in projects greater than $50 million
• Experience with and Procore
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
