Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Project Control Specialist for nationwide ADA assistive-technology deployments in Washington, DC. You will own schedules, financials, risk registers, and vendor liaison, in a project-controls role rather than software PM or engineering.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project controls or program-support, with strong MS 365 and project-tracking tool skills, and on-site availability in DC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project controls, project coordination, or program-support roles.
• Experience with project tracking, financial/variance reporting, and risk registers.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) and project-tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules, trackers, action logs, risk registers, and status artifacts for nationwide ADA deployments.
• Support financial tracking, accruals, budget monitoring, resource utilization, and forecasting.
• Prepare weekly status reports, executive summaries, variance reporting, and performance analytics.
• Liaise among leadership, project teams, and vendors; draft meeting summaries and action items.
• Monitor milestones and dependencies; escalate risks under program governance.
• Support process improvement and project-management documentation.
