Base pay range

$50.00/yr - $50.00/yr

Amass Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Specialist to support a dynamic portfolio of electric utility infrastructure projects, including transmission lines, substations, and telecommunication systems. This is a great opportunity to join a high-impact team working on the FirstEnergy – Energizing the Future Program.

  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 (20–200 activities).
  • Support 5–6 Project Managers on various design and construction phases.
  • Load and maintain resources within schedules.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables.
  • Compare schedules to financial data to ensure alignment with project timelines.
  • Understand and communicate technical progress of electric utility T&D and telecom projects.
  • Analyze and integrate schedule data using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Collaborate across project teams to meet deadlines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (T&D or Utility project scheduling preferred).
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 (2–5 years), MS Office, Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Entry-level applicants with strong P6 skills will be considered.
  • Drug screening may be required.
  • Onsite role – must be within commuting range or willing to relocate.
