Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Project Control Analyst in Maryland to manage detailed financial activities across full contract lifecycles. You will assist budgeting, estimating, and reporting for government programs and coordinate with program teams to deliver recommendations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, forecasting ability, and experience with subcontractor finance and CLIN structures. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program cost control or financial planning and analysis support for government customers.
  • Experience with complex CLIN structures and multiple funding types or sources.
  • Experience with financial management of subcontractors and generating invoice details and back-up.
  • Experience briefing financial recommendations to a program team or leadership.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions for calculation and analysis.
  • Ability to conduct trend analysis and financial forecasts based on bottoms-up analysis and historical trends.
  • Ability to identify program risks, assist with mitigation plans, and prioritize requirements.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Project Control Analyst

The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need a Project Control Analyst like you who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure space and intelligence resources can make the most impact. As a Project Control Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for moderate-to-large-sized programs, organizations, or proposals. You’ll perform detailed financial and program control activities, including assisting with budgeting, reporting, estimating, and analysis for full contract lifecycle support. You’ll analyze budgets, support authorizing budget expenditures, provide work leadership to junior employees, monitor expenses, perform cost and schedule variance analysis, and provide resulting recommendations. You’ll prepare the cost-to-complete, including supporting estimates and contract deliverables, responding to contract and program data calls, and participating in contract terms and conditions and statement of work reviews. You’ll also prepare detailed financial program management reviews, provide a status of key performance metrics for the company, anticipate and respond to customer needs, and serve as a primary point of contact for customers. You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in program cost control or financial planning and analysis support for government customers
  • Experience working with complex CLIN structures and multiple funding types or sources
  • Experience with financial management of subcontractors and generating invoice details and back-up

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
