Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

At Volvo Group Purchasing you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. In this role, you are ultimately responsible for influencing the global Segment Business Plan to achieve North American targets, supported by your understanding of market trends for interior plastics and/or soft trim components. You will own the sourcing plan for the assigned segment, including leading supplier qualification activities and contract negotiations. You will drive actions and challenge assumptions, both internally and with suppliers, to meet QDCF-TSR targets for the products being developed. You will monitor, identify, and mitigate risks in the project phase in cooperation with your cross-functional project team. You will ensure supplier deliverables to support APQP activities managed by the Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), and you will manage daily project purchasing activities connected to prototypes and initial production orders, logistics, and financial flows. You will also proactively scout for new supply partners through research and trade show attendance, while working in accordance with Volvo processes, the Code of Conduct, and the Volvo Values.
