Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Richmond Heights, MO seeks a Project Associate to join our design-build team. You’ll support site and space planning, review codes, and coordinate drawings for permit submittals and construction.

You’ll work with project managers, engineers, and consultants to develop preliminary designs into construction documents and present solutions using AutoCAD and Revit, with 3D modeling as a plus. Our benefits are comprehensive, including bonus programs and ESOP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field required.
  • Multi-family experience highly preferred; Commercial/light industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to develop preliminary designs into construction documents.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit; 3D modeling preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide site and space planning for construction project managers.
  • Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants.
  • Prepare presentation drawings as required.
  • Attend client meetings; coordinate with project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers.
  • Review project scope with construction project managers; produce architectural documents for permit submittal and construction.

About You

We're adding a Project Associate to our team in Richmond Heights, MO. GMA partners with a top ENR design-build firm to provide services including creative design, project management, ADA/code compliance, building assessment and reuse, additions and renovations, historic preservation, master planning, interior design, space planning, structural analysis and design, and construction administration.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Provide site and space planning for construction project managers
  • Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
  • Prepare presentation drawings as required
  • Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers
  • Review project scope with construction project managers
  • Produce architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction
  • Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager and consultants as it relates to projects
Necessary Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • Multi-family experience highly preferred. Commercial/light industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to develop preliminary designs into construction documents
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience
  • Ability to develop presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations)
  • 3D modeling/rendering preferred
