Job summary

Nelsen Partners is seeking qualified Project Architects to join our Austin, TX studio. We are a design-focused architecture and planning firm recognized for our quality work, design passion, and client dedication.

We seek talented professionals driven by design excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional development. Experience with complex commercial projects, strong technical knowledge, and Revit proficiency are essential. Licensure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience – 8+ years working with complex commercial projects, including mixed-use, multi-family or hospitality.
• Technical knowledge – strong knowledge of building technologies, construction methods, details, codes & specifications.
• Software proficiency – Revit required, Bluebeam, Newforma, Speclink, SketchUp, Adobe CC, MS Office.
• Communication – effective communicator and collaborator in a high-energy team environment.
• Licensure – preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead design documentation for complex commercial projects.
• Collaborate with design teams, consultants and clients to ensure design intent.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project delivery and quality control.
