Job summary

AIA Philadelphia is seeking a licensed architect to lead design and CD production in Center City, Philadelphia. You will manage projects, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure work meets exacting requirements.

The role emphasizes planning and urban design, with a 5-day, 40-hour week and some overtime. Registration is preferred but not required, and benefits include health insurance and PTO after 1 year.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or M.Arch with 3–5 years of experience including project management.
• Registration preferred but not required.
• Experience in design and CD production.
• Some experience with submittals and construction administration.
• Experience with complex technical projects and job meetings.
• Work to exacting city and private client requirements.
• Interact with clients and consultants in conjunction with the principal.
• Interest in planning and urban design.
• 5 day 40 hour week in Center City; no regular work from home; some overtime.
• Ability to do technical research and implement drawings and details.
• Ability to interact knowledgeably with consultants and manufacturers' reps.
