Qualifications

Project Architect (Level II)

Arketekcher seeks a Project Architect (Level II) to join our energetic and collaborative team of remote workers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing multiple mid-size to small-scale projects
  • Coordinating all aspects of the assigned project
  • Being responsible for specific technical design aspects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs
  • Providing professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of projects
  • Independently applying advanced architectural concepts and designs
  • Providing technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff
  • Reporting directly to the Principal and Partners

Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years experience
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • US architectural license is a plus
  • Ability to use AutoCAD, SketchUp is a plus
  • Experience with multifamily & single-family housing
  • Knowledge of architectural design, drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes, and construction techniques
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to build quick rapport with all levels of employees, clients, consultants, and vendors
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrates empathy by actively listening, understanding diverse perspectives, and responding with compassion to colleagues and clients
  • Candidates should live in the Northeast and be legally authorized to work in the US
