Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Architect to lead multidiscipline teams and drive architectural projects from concept through construction documents. You will coordinate with owners, engineers, and stakeholders, ensure code compliance, and oversee QA/QC and specifications.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Architecture, 5+ years of experience, and registration. Proficiency in Revit, 3D tools, and strong communication are required for this role in our architecture practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience and Registered Architect.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and familiar with related tools/processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with codes, planning, and contract document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects.
• Independently coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases of a project.
• Establish owner/client meetings and participate in reviews for code compliance.
• Conduct site work sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Coordinate workload to complete documents on schedule.
• Review documents for conflicts and perform QA/QC and technical reviews.
• Write and edit architectural specifications and manage addenda/ RFIs.
• Lead projects in dual management role as needed and provide contract administration.
